This is a tool I developed for organizing Subaru Cylinder Head Components during engine overhauls to ensure components go back in the same positions as they were removed for best valve seal / performance, especially when the head does not receive a valve grinding job.
each kit comes with labelled organizers for both the left and right heads. -the organizers are shaped the same way as the heads to help avoid confusion.
each kit comes with two sets of camshaft holders which hold all 4 intake and exhaust cams and keep them off of the bench where the lobes could potentially be scratched or damaged.
I developed this while working at a Subaru Tuning shop where I would have multiple engine builds on the go, so it could help out an experienced builder, or someone attempting their first head gasket job!
specifically designed the 1998-2021 Subaru STI and 1998-2014 Subaru WRX with bucket shims, but will fit other DOHC 4 cylinder models and hold the valves of a SOHC EJ251/253 motors that have mechanical valve lash adjustment.
